What can York CAMRA do to help?
We can publicise your event via e-mail to our members network (e-mail our branch Secretary) and in our quarterly newsletter, Ouse Boozer (email the Editor). Please include details like dates, times, venue, location and any other details you have. Ouse Boozer is published quarterly, so you need to plan ahead to be included.
How can I have my event posted on York CAMRA social media sites?
Your event will be posted on our website events page under Local Beer Festivals or Local Events also on our Facebook page. Please supply us with at least the following information, venue, dates, contact details, ticket price. If possible supply a few words describing your event such as beers on offer, entertainment, food, accommodation, etc. If you have a flyer please attach it to your email and we will do our best to post it. Contact the Website Administrator.
Can York CAMRA run our event?
Sorry, no. We are an entirely volunteer group who also run our own beer festival in September. Whilst individual members may get involved in their local events we cannot run your festival for you.
Where can I get a range of beers from?
Several of our local breweries are able to source a range of beers for your festival. These include Brown Cow, Brass Castle, Great Heck, Half Moon, Rudgate, Treboom and York.
Where can I get real cider from?

I supply services to small festivals, but aren’t listed here. How do I change that?
